Tekwill ICT Excellence Center was launched on March 15, 2017, and is the most important investment, at this moment, in the human technical capital of the Republic of Moldova. The objective of the Centre is to become a world-class technological space focused on removing the skill gaps in ICT and providing better employment opportunities for young people. Tekwill activities focus on the formal education of TUM by improving the curriculum, collaborating with foreign universities and improving teachers' skills. The Centre will train at least one thousand people annually, assist new enterprises in identifying investments and provide other types of support. The Centre was created as a public-private partnership through a Global Development Alliance (GDA) instrument between the Government of the Republic of Moldova, private sector (IBM, Microsoft and others) and TUM.
